Beyond The Moon and Stars

Beyond the Moon and Stars

Recently I was hired on as an organist at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church located in Draper. As part of Mass on Sunday, we sang “Beyond the Moon and Stars”, I wasn’t aware that it was being recorded so this was a nice little treat to find. Please share this beautiful hymn with your friends that they may feel the spirit of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

A big thanks of gratitude goes out to Joanne for this recording.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Organ Solo

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Organ Solo on the St Anne’s Moseley organ on Hauptwerk

Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
mount of thy redeeming love.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Organ

2. Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I’m come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood.

3. O to grace how great a debtor
daily I’m constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.

The First Noel

The First Noel Piano Solo

“The First Noel”

Share this Christmas video with your friends!

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel
The First Noel Piano Solo
Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Peace of a Morning

Peace of a Morning

Peace of a Morning

Have you ever sat in the Mountains, in a park, or perhaps in your own backyard and wondered how great and beautiful the wonders of the world are?

Looking at a sunrise or a sunset and you see the different colors beaming out from the heavens and kissing the ground beneath. At times we may be too busy to even notice the beautiful surroundings around us. Perhaps we are always in a hurry that we haven’t really taken any time to enjoy the wonders of the world.

The story is told of General Charles Gordon, who, during a wartime campaign in Africa, began each day in private meditation. Every morning while he pondered and prayed, a white handkerchief lay outside his tent door, signaling to his troops that he was not to be disturbed. No matter the emergency, General Gordon knew he could better meet the challenges of the day if he took time to meditate1

As we go throughout life may we take a little time out in the day to enjoy the wonders of nature, and enjoy the great blessings that our creator has given us.
